About ME

Hi! I am an Emmy Award-winning, freelance multimedia journalist and producer based in NYC. I am currently working as Senior Producer for the Truth Tellers Summit and the Aspen Ideas Festival.

From 2017 until 2023, I worked as a producer for VICE News Tonight, covering stories in the US and abroad on a broad range of topics — from climate change, politics, criminal justice, housing and labor to cryptocurrency, literature and music. I also produced stories for other VICE shows, including Counter Space, Cryptoland and True Believers.

In 2023, I won an LA Press Club Award for “SOLD OUT”, a feature documentary for Tubi on ticket scalping and the live music industry.

Earlier in my career, I produced events for Tina Brown’s Women in the World (in partnership with the New York Times) and worked as a freelance reporter for De Morgen, Opening Ceremony and Red Bull. I’ve interviewed a wide range of people - from Salman Rushdie and Slavoj Zizek to Flying Lotus and Stromae.

I am fluent in Dutch, English, French and Spanish, and provide translation services. I have also worked as a fixer for documentary productions in Belgium, and done trendspotting work in NYC.

I am currently open to work / available for new projects!
